TER’s mission is to help owners in plant staffing and maintenance throughout their facilities. With our team of trained, licensed, professional Operators and Mechanics, TER provides the following services:
Condition Assessments:
TER’s Condition Assessments provide the owner with critical information regarding the useful life of equipment.
Assessments are typically conducted by visual and non-destructive examination (NDE) methods, as well as internal tube inspections. These assessments are provided for boiler fire and watersides. Plant auxiliary equipment is also assessed to determine its condition and remaining useful life.
Commissioning:
Commissioning is required to ensure that owners have a complete operational system.
The TER staff works closely with the owner and installing contractor to provide a successful, cost effective startup of all MEP components including but not limited to steam, chilled water and building HVAC systems.
TER commissioning services are beneficial to both the owner and the installing contractor. The commissioning services provided by TER are unique compared to services typically offered by other firms.
The principals at TER have worked shift work at hospitals and universities and know what it takes to perform this work in an effective and safe manner. They have also worked performing energy audits and facility condition assessments over the last twenty years.

The utilities staffed by TER professional operators normally range up to 600,000 pounds per hour of steam production and 30,000 tons of refrigeration. TER’s operating staff is versed in the majority of Building Automation Systems utilized in Hospital and University facilities.
